St Giles’ Churchyard
Burial Records
The National Burial Grounds Survey is a nationwide initiative that is mapping Church of England churchyards across the country.
By creating detailed maps, photographing memorials, and scanning and transcribing parish registers, the project is building a lasting record of England’s churchyards and their history. This work helps preserve important heritage information and makes it more accessible for visitors, families, historians and researchers.
Bringing all the information together in one place ensures a consistent, high-quality record of each churchyard and its memorials.
St Giles’ Church is proud to be one of the first churches mapped as part of this programme. Click the button below to explore the burial records.
