Prayer Resources

Prayer requests

We look forward to praying with you and for you on Sunday, 31 August 7 pm at St George's Church. If you would like to submit a prayer request for yourself, a close family member, or friend please complete the details below.

Prayer Labyrinth

Completed in Spring 2020, the labyrinth lies in the St Giles’ churchyard on the north-east side of the church.  You’re invited to walk the labyrinth, using three words to help you as you walk:
Release: As you enter, let go of all that burdens you.
Receive: As you reach the centre, be open to what you might receive from God. Let his peace and love fill you.
Return: As you leave, let the spirit dwell within you, giving you hope and joy as you re-enter our troubled world.

Prayer Garden

The Prayer Garden is open to visitors via the outside gate. Please sit and pray, being aware of God’s presence and listening to his still voice amidst all that we are coping with both personally and as a community.
