History Comes Alive at St Giles’

Heritage Sunday at St Giles’ was a wonderful celebration of our church’s history and community. More than 150 visitors joined familiar SGSG faces throughout the day, enjoying churchyard tours, historical displays and the chance to experience bell ringing first-hand. It was especially encouraging to see families and visitors exploring the rich heritage of our church together.

The day concluded with a joyful Heritage Festival Service, where Ashtead Parish Choir was joined by guest singers from the community. Malcolm Raby’s sermon on our patron saint, St Giles, provided a fitting end to a day of celebration and thanksgiving. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents and hospitality to make the day such a warm and welcoming success.
