Local Christmas Events to Enjoy

As we prepare to celebrate the joy of Christmas together, our community is alive with festive gatherings and special events. Alongside our own church celebrations, there are wonderful opportunities nearby to experience the season in different ways:

  • Ashtead Village Traders - Late Night Christmas Event - The Annual Christmas Shopping Evening is on Tuesday, 9th December from 4pm to 8pm. There’s a Treasure Hunt, Fancy Dress and Festive Treats. Esther Jones will be leading a choir singing Carols outside Jackie Quinn throughout the evening. More details on this and other festive events can be found HERE.

  • Guildford Cathedral will be hosting a series of Christmas services and events, offering moments of reflection, music and worship in the stunning setting of the cathedral. Enjoy a Christmas Art Exhibition celebrating how Jesus brings Joy and Hope, even in challenging times, or there’s an unmissable performance of Vivaldi Four Seasons by Candlelight to get you and your family into the Christmas Spirit. Discover more HERE.

  • Christmas Jazz Concert – St Mary’s Church in Headley will be host to The Tim Boniface Quartet on Friday 5 December at 7.30pm. You can enjoy a concert of Christmas favourites, jazz classics and original material from the band. Tickets and further details are available HERE.

  • Narnia at Leatherhead Community Hub – explore the meaning of Advent through the story of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe when you visit from 25th November - 9am-2pm Tuesday to Saturday. Discover more HERE.
