FAQs

What is the format of the service?

We meet every Sunday evening to sing modern hymns with a full worship band and a talk. We also have a full programme for youth (year 6 - year 13), who meet during and after the service

Where can I park?

There are limited parking spaces to the rear of the church accessible from Oakfield Road, included a few designated disabled spaces. Further parking is available on nearby residential streets, but we ask you to be thoughtful of local residents and don’t park across driveways

Accessibility?

St George’s has access ramps to the front and rear of the building, suitable for wheelchair users, plus step free access to the ground floor of the building. There is also a disabled toilet. The church is fitted with hearing loops. Please do let us know if you encounter any challenges or require additional assistance by emailing us on reception@ashteadparish.org

Are there groups for kids and youth?

During the main service we have groups for our young people

Year 6 to Year 9  - Gather in the Youth Room on the 1st floor after the first block of worship in the service (disabled access for wheelchair users can be arranged via a lift), a comfy space for our young people to relax and be themselves

Year 9 to 13 - Join in with the service, and then gather in the youth room afterwards for a time of led teaching and prayer until 8.45

Refreshments

Hot food and a selection of soft drinks are available to purchase from our Sunday Café after the service until 9pm. Tea & Coffee (with biscuits) and conversation is also available

Can I help out?

Yes! There are lots of opportunities to serve and help make our gatherings happen. If you’d like to find out more about joining one of the teams, email ministrypa@ashteadparish.org for more information.
