Blessings from Besom

When we meet as volunteers for Besom, we always pray and remind ourselves that we carry the presence of God with us.  During the year we deliver good quality donated furniture and household essentials to nearly 200 families referred to us.  At Christmas we deliver donated Christmas Hampers of food and gifts to more than 70 of those we have helped during the year.

Your love and gifts for Christmas Hampers have enabled our family of God, from many churches, to demonstrate God's love to so many families in need. We want to thank you so much.

We have had "Thank you," messages , hugs, and tears of gratitude from so many families.

One mother wrote that she, her husband and two teenage children had all been arguing and fighting all week, it was stressful, and she could see no end to this.  When your hamper came to their home they were so overwhelmed by your love and kindness that they all sat down together, talked and cried together. She said she couldn't believe their differences could be reconciled, but your hamper made that possible! 

We believe we delivered your presents, but the presence of God , His Peace and Joy went with them all.
