A Call to Digital Fellowship
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
In Acts 2:42, we see the early church thriving through intentional connection—learning together, praying together and sharing life. While their fellowship happened face-to-face, the heart of their community was spiritual unity and mutual care. Today, we have new tools to live out that same spirit—even when we’re apart.
On World Online Networking Day, observed on 30 October, we’re reminded that technology isn’t just for work or entertainment—it can be a powerful tool for building the Body of Christ. Online networking allows us to extend our reach, deepen relationships and stay connected in ways the early church could only dream of.
Why Online Networking Matters for the Church
Fellowship Beyond Sundays: Just as the early believers met daily, we too can stay in touch throughout the week—sharing encouragement, prayer requests, and updates.
Accessibility for All: Online platforms create space for everyone to engage with church life, especially those who may not be able to attend in person.
Strengthening the Church Family: From small groups to ministry teams, digital tools help us coordinate, communicate and care for one another more effectively.
