Covid 19 - Day of Reflection

2025 marks five years since the pandemic began and we continue to honour and remember those affected. Sunday 9 March, 2025 is the Day of Reflection across the UK for the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an opportunity to come together to remember those who lost their lives since the pandemic began and to honour the tireless work and acts of kindness shown during this unprecedented time.

From Monday 3 March to Friday 14 March 2025, in support of the National Day of Reflection, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council provide a table of reflection in the foyer of both Epsom Town Hall, The Parade, Epsom, KT18 5BY and Bourne Hall, Spring Street, Ewell, KT17 1UF. Here you can sign the book of remembrance and light a candle to honour your loved ones. On the 9 March 2025 Epsom & Ewell Borough Council will light up the Clock Tower in Epsom Town Centre in yellow and local councillors will lay yellow ribbons on the 15 Covid-19 memorial benches which are located around the borough. For more information please check the Epsom & Ewell Borough Council Website.
