All In A Chord Concert
Ashtead Rotary Club, renowned for their yearly contribution to the community, is proud to present a unique concert featuring young musicians from around the world and from our local schools, united for the common cause to raise money for children that are victims of war in Ukraine.
The concert programme will include a variety of classical and modern music presented within the architecturally stunning and acoustically brilliant Menuhin Concert Hall. This innovative project is a continuation of Ashtead Rotary working with both the Rotary Club of Kyiv and the Epsom and Ewell Refugee Group in support of the after effect of war on family life.
The concert is to raise funds for the children of Ukraine; their parents have died, many have lost their homes, their schools and libraries have been destroyed and their lives are in turmoil – they need our support for their future – THEY ARE THE FUTURE OF THEIR COUNTRY.
The Yehudi Menuhin School was founded to provide an environment and tuition for musically gifted children from around the world and this concert is a rare opportunity showcasing their exceptional talents with our local students from the City of London Freemen’s School, Cranmore School, Howard of Effingham School, Weydon School and students who are a part of the Surrey Youth Orchestra. TICKETS INCLUDE AN AFTER CONCERT WINE RECEPTION.
