🎄 Christmas Market Success at St George’s

On Friday 28 November, St George’s was filled with festive cheer as our Christmas Market welcomed hundreds of visitors through the doors. The event, lovingly organised by The St George’s Café team, proved to be a wonderful occasion for the whole community.

Guests enjoyed browsing among 24 stallholders offering a delightful variety of gifts and seasonal treasures, while the café provided the perfect accompaniment — warm drinks and slices of homemade cake that added to the cosy atmosphere.

A raffle held during the day raised an impressive £273, with each winner receiving a prize generously donated by one of the stallholders.

It was truly a lovely day of fellowship, celebration and joy — one that has set the tone for the season and brought everyone into the Christmas spirit. A huge thanks for the hard work of the café staff and volunteers, the stallholders and all who came to support this special event.
