The Raspberry Tea, held at The Dell Centre on 7 August, was a wonderful success, serving up scones and smiles for another year whilst raising more than £1,500 for Christian Aid.

Added to the fundraising total from Christian Aid Week in May, which exceeded £6,000, plus the £500 raised at the Tea Dance in February, the Ashtead community has raised an incredible £8,000 so far this year.

Congratulations and heartfelt thanks go to Jane Boniface, Chair of the Ashtead Churches Together Christian Aid Committee, and her dedicated team of volunteers, whose hard work, enthusiasm and commitment have made this remarkable achievement possible.

Every penny raised helps support Christian Aid's mission to tackle global poverty and help vulnerable communities around the world. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and attended these events. Together, we are making a real difference.
