Giving Thanks, Sharing Love

“Give thanks in all circumstances…” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

On Sunday 7th July, communities across the UK will come together to celebrate Thank You Day – a special moment to honour the unsung heroes who have touched our lives.

We are called to live lives of gratitude. Scripture reminds us to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11), and Thank You Day is an opportunity to do just that.

Whether it’s a neighbour who checks in, a friend who listens, or someone who’s gone the extra mile – take a moment to say thank you, and let them know they are appreciated.

  • Say it in person – a kind word, a handwritten note, or a heartfelt conversation can mean the world.

  • Share it online – tag your hero on social media and tell others how they’ve made a difference.

  • Invite others – encourage friends and family to join in and spread the gratitude.
