Exploring The Case For Christ

24 June | 7.30pm

Was Jesus a myth, a moral teacher… or something more?

Jesus: The Evidence is a thought‑provoking presentation that takes a fresh and honest look at one of history’s most influential figures. Drawing on ancient sources, historical records and careful reasoning, it explores the life, death and enduring impact of Jesus of Nazareth.

This is not a call to blind faith. There’s no pressure and no assumptions—just an open invitation to examine the evidence and consider the conclusions for yourself.

The presentation is led by Derek McIntyre, who came to this subject from a non‑Christian background. Describing himself once as a “resolute agnostic,” Derek set out to revisit questions about God and Jesus with a questioning, analytical mindset. With a science and engineering background, he approached the subject as an investigation—exploring both the case for and against Jesus.

What he discovered surprised him.

“What surprised and challenged me was the strength of the evidence for Jesus — compared with the evidence against.”

That journey led him from uncertainty to conviction, and ultimately inspired him to create Jesus: The Evidence—a clear, accessible way for others to explore the same questions.  Discover more by visiting jesustheevidence.com.

Whether you’re sceptical, curious or simply interested in history and big questions, this event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the evidence for yourself.  Come with your questions. Leave with something to think about.
