Find Your Voice with Ashtead Youth Choir

Ashtead Youth Choir is a vibrant, welcoming community where young people aged 7+ can discover the joy of singing, build confidence and make lasting friendships. Open to all—no auditions or fees required—it offers high-quality musical training in a fun, relaxed environment. Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays at the Dell Centre during term time, where singers develop their voices, musical skills and teamwork while exploring a wide-ranging repertoire from classical to gospel and pop.

Under the direction of our Director of Music, Esther Jones, the choir continues to thrive and grow. This summer, Esther is visiting local schools—including Rosebery, Greville, West Ashtead and St Giles’—where she is leading engaging singing workshops to introduce more young people to the choir and inspire a love of music. These visits are a fantastic opportunity to connect with new families and showcase what the choir has to offer.

For older members, the Young Singing Leaders’ programme provides valuable leadership experience, while choral scholarships offer further musical development and opportunities to sing with the Parish Choir.

If you or your child is aged 7-17 and is interested, then you are warmly invited to come along to a rehearsal. To find out more or get involved, please contact Esther at esther.jones@ashteadparish.org or on 07795 236347.

Come and be part of a choir where friendships grow, confidence blossoms and every young voice truly matters.
