Creating Space for Faith
Being a parent or carer is one of life’s most meaningful roles, and when it comes to nurturing a child’s faith, many of us wonder how to start or what to say. It’s reassuring to know you’re not alone on this journey. Whether you’re new to the idea or have been walking alongside your child’s faith for years, Parenting for Faith offers practical support, gentle wisdom and a welcoming community to grow with.
Parenting for Faith is an inviting, down-to-earth 9-part course designed to help you encourage the children and teens in your life as they build a personal and lasting relationship with God. It’s not about having all the answers or being a perfect parent; it’s about opening space for honest conversations, being real about your faith and learning simple tools to help your children connect with God in everyday moments.
Whether you’re navigating noisy dinner tables, school runs or quiet heart-to-hearts at bedtime, this course offers practical wisdom and encouragement tailored to the ebb and flow of family life.
“It’s transformed how I share faith with the kids. Having been raised in a non-Christian home, I felt clueless before, but this has totally been a game changer!”
The course will run monthly on Mondays from 15 September at St George’s Church, with evenings starting at 7.15 pm and a delicious meal served at 7.30 pm—making it a perfect ‘date night’ for couples or a warm retreat for anyone investing in their family’s spiritual journey. Everyone raising or shaping young lives is welcome, from single parents and grandparents to foster carers and guardians.
💬 Come as you are. No pressure, no performance—just a willingness to explore, grow and bless the next generation.
We encourage you to attend all nine sessions if possible. The cost is £6.50 per person per session, including a meal and the course handbook. To support families, we ask that payment is made individually for each session, before its running date.
