Questions:

1)      Why do you go to church? What would you miss most if you weren’t able to attend?

2)      When in your life have you been most excited about attending church? What made it exciting?

Read Hebrews 10:19-25 

3)      What motivations do vs 19-22 give you to gather with other Christians? What would the Temple imagery have meant to a Jewish reader? What about a Gentile?

4)      How do we draw near to God (v22)? How can church help us do that?

5)      How can other believers help us ‘hold unswervingly to the hope we profess’ (v23)?

6)      How can we ‘spur one other on towards love and good deeds’ (v24)? Can you give an example of that happening?

7)      Why are some tempted ‘to give up meeting together’? How would you challenge them?

8)      How could we make church more encouraging (v25)? What part could ordinary church members play in achieving that?

Read Acts 2:42-47

9)      What reasons does this passage suggest for gathering together?

10) With what mindset should we come to church or Life Group? Pray for each group member to catch that vision.
