1)      What do you most enjoy remembering?

2)      But what are the benefits of remembering less happy times, especially the courageous  sacrifices of others?

Read Micah 4:1-5

3)      What struck you from the sermon on Sunday (if applicable)? What strikes you from this passage now?

4)      What do you think ‘the last days’ refers to? Bearing in mind the content of the prophecy, when do you think it is likely to be fulfilled? (There may be a range of view on these questions!)

5)      How would you apply the general message of v1, if it is not a literal reference to Jerusalem?

6)      To what extent was verse 2 fulfilled in the earthly ministry of Jesus?

7)      Have we yet seen verses 3 and 4 fulfilled? What does it tell us about heaven and how can this inspire us today?

8)      What does it mean for an individual to ‘walk in the name of the Lord’ (v5)? What does it mean for a nation? How can Christians help their country to do this?

9)      We have already thought about how remembering the past can guide and inspire us. What does this passage tell us about the value of prophecies about the future?
