RESET: New Wine Women’s Day — A Joy‑Filled Day at St George’s
Last Saturday, St George’s Church was delighted to be one of the host venues for RESET: New Wine Women’s Day 2026, welcoming 300 + women from across our region. What a privilege to be part of a nationwide gathering that brought together over 2,500 women across nine locations, all seeking rest, renewal and a fresh encounter with Jesus.
From the moment the doors opened, there was a sense of anticipation — hearts ready for worship, teaching and the gentle but powerful work of the Holy Spirit. Throughout the day, we heard stories of God meeting women in deeply personal ways: through prayer, through scripture and through the shared courage of stepping closer to Him.
New Wine captured the atmosphere beautifully in their reflections this week, describing how women arrived “with open hearts, hungry for rest, refreshment and a fresh encounter with Jesus… and you made Reset what it was.” They spoke of the joy of hearing stories of how God moved, strengthened and renewed women across the country.
As a church, we are incredibly proud to have hosted RESET this year. The day was filled with warmth, laughter, tears and the unmistakable presence of God. We look forward to seeing how the seeds planted on Saturday continue to grow in the months ahead.
A massive thank you to Vicky Haustead for organising this event, Affy Light for hosting and the many volunteers who brought their gifts together to make this day so special for so many. We would also like to thank the New-Wine team and the amazing speakers - Jazz Crowne, Gemma Foster and Mim Taylor.
