SGSG Mission Partner Interserve works alongside the church in nations across Asia and the Arab world, wherever there are opportunities to share the love of Jesus with Asian and Arab peoples. Their partners seek to bring about meaningful and lasting transformations in the people they work with through Jesus.

Working in many countries where the majority of people are not Christians but belong to a different faith group such as Muslims, Hindus or Buddhists, Interserve works alongside churches that often find themselves in situations where they are persecuted as a minority group. Partners located around the world often go to these countries where they take a wide variety of jobs in industry, healthcare, teaching, or business, as well as seeking out opportunities to share Jesus with the people they are alongside, and support churches there.

Many of Interserve’s partners also work with Asian and Arab people groups in their home countries. Our partner Helen is based in Bristol with her husband, Jonathan. She is involved, both at a local and national level, with Interserve in the UK and their work amongst refugees and immigrants from Asia and the Arab world. She and Jonathan recently visited SGSG and preached at our services at St George’s, where they also shared more about the work they are involved with. Helen has been working on new resources for Churches to use as they reach out and disciple those who have come to know Christ from a Muslim background.
