2)      What struck you from Sunday’s sermon? What is your favourite aspect of the Road to Emmaus story?

Read Lk 24:13-35

3)      Did you spot anything you haven’t noticed before, from the passage? Share and discuss those things.

4)      What is the two disciples’ reaction to Jesus’ initial question? What does it tell us about the impact Jesus had made?

5)      Why were the disciples’ hearts burning, during their conversation with Jesus (v32)? What does that feel like? When has it happened to you?

6)      How could you ‘walk alongside’ others on their spiritual journey? How would you apply what Jesus models to us here?

7)      In what situations do you need to better recognise Jesus’ work in your life? Share a story of when you were conscious of him walking alongside you in the past. What impact did that have?

8)      Who in your life needs prayer to help them recognise and respond to Jesus? Pray for them and your witness to them.

9)      What is the main thing you are going to take from this passage and session? Pray into those things.
